My Story

Hi I’m Maki.

— founder of Kokoneyui.

I started this brand in a small Australian unit I now call my inner-bloom house. It’s where I learned to keep life simple, listen to my “YES” moments, and turn them into little rituals that make an ordinary day feel softly luminous.

I’ve always been drawn to clean visuals, quiet beauty, and things that feel honest in the hands. When I couldn’t find pieces that matched that feeling, I began making them myself — first for my home, then for friends, and now for you.

What I make

Small-batch bath salts, bath bombs, candles, and room & body mists — plus digital editions that inspire calm and everyday rituals.

How I make

Why I make

Because tiny, honest moments change the day: the first breath after a mist, warm water meeting rose salt, the hush when a candle lights a corner. Those are the moments I call YES — and Kokoneyui exists to help you find yours.

Roots & place

Kokoneyui is Australian owned & operated, shaped by coastal light, late-afternoon breezes, and the calm of home.

Some creations have a Japanese Edition — a nod to my heritage and love for simple, thoughtful design.
